New Winter Palace Hotel was
built in 1886. This is the
modern wing of a colonial
style building which dates
back to the early 1900s.
This wing is a modern block,
with interior access to the
old building. The entire
complex is set in its own
carefully tended gardens
which stretch back a fair
way and enclose a swimming
pool as well as ornamental
fountains and paved
walkways.
This is one of the most
famous hotels in Luxor with
a real colonial flavour.
Recommended for guests
looking for a traditional
style hotel.
